Carranzar Naa Okailey Shooter is the Ghanaian titleholder for Miss Ghana 2012.[1] She is known for placing third at the Miss World 2013 pageant in Indonesia. Her performance as the second runner-up in the competition is the highest a Ghanaian beauty queen has achieved in the Miss Worldpageant history.
Carranzar was born in the suburbs of Accra and has lived in the capital all her life. She is a BSC Medical Student with ambitions of qualifying as a paediatrician in the future. Describing herself as “down to earth with a vivacious personality and a passion to help the under privileged”, she partakes in quarterly outreach programs bringing medical care to rural areas of Ghana. In her spare time she enjoys reading, sightseeing, and travelling, and her favourite book is Think Big by Ben Carson.

I am a 22 year old fourth year medical student.
Representing my country Ghana, is a humbling experience and I look forward to interacting with the other amazing women from all over the world in this competition.
I believe the definition of beauty has evolved and the essence is being able to impact lives. I’m glad to be a part of this organization that truly embodies beauty with a purpose and seeks to improve the lives of the less fortunate especially children.
